Increasing Revenues, Driving Healthier Choices

The Challenge

Falcon Heights Elementary School is a Minnesota-based K-5 school near the Twin Cities. They were looking for a way to refresh their decades-old cafeteria while educating students on how to make healthy choices. The challenge was to maximize a limited budget while transforming an outdated cafeteria space.

Visualz, part of The Vomela Companies, produces affordable nutrition and life skills education resources for all levels of academics. Their product offerings, combined with the Vomela network’s print capabilities, made us the perfect choice to refresh the Falcon Heights Elementary cafeteria.

We used a combination of custom vinyl banner material and paper-based nutrition signage to transform the cafeteria into a colorful and engaging environment. A professional installer was hired for the vinyl pieces while representatives from Visualz worked with school staff to install remaining signage.

The Result

Through the combined efforts of Visualz, the Vomela team, and the staff at Falcon Heights Elementary, we were able to completely transform the cafeteria on a budget that worked for everyone involved. By using low-cost materials and showing school staff how to install and replace graphics when needed, we were able to empower the school to take control of their wellness communication.

The children can now look forward to a colorful new experience at lunch while learning tips for living a happy and healthy lifestyle.
